Swiss survey on barrier-free communication in educational settings

We would like to invite you to participate in our nation-wide survey on barrier-free communication, conducted within the framework of a research project funded by Swissuniversities.

The survey aims at understanding the current situation of deaf, hearing impaired, blind and visually impaired communities in Switzerland regarding different communication-related issues. Our ultimate goal is to improve access to secondary and tertiary education in Switzerland for deaf and blind individuals, as well as for individuals with a hearing or visual impairment.

Concretely, the survey is intended for:

a) Individuals with any type of visual or hearing impairment, and from deaf or blind communities

b) Relatives of deaf and blind individuals, or of individuals with any type of visual or hearing impairment

c) Staff members of NGOs, community centres and any other type of institution offering any type of support (social, medical, technical) to deaf and blind individuals, individuals with hearing impairments, visual impairments or both

d) Teachers and interpreters of sign language

e) Sign language learners

Our questionnaire is available in German, French, Italian, Swiss German Sign Language (DSGS), French Sign Language of Switzerland (LSF-SR) and Italian Sign Language of Switzerland (LIS-SI), as well as in English.

Aufruf zur Teilnahme: Schweizweite Umfrage zur barrierefreien Kommunikation

Im Rahmen eines von Swissuniversities unterstützten Forschungsprojekts laden wir Sie ein, an unserer schweizweiten Umfrage zur barrierefreien Kommunikation teilzunehmen.

Die Umfrage soll die aktuelle Situation von gehörlosen, hörbehinderten, blinden und sehbehinderten Menschen in der Schweiz abbilden, speziell in Bezug auf kommunikationsbezogene Themen. Ziel des Projekts ist es, gehörlosen und blinden Personen sowie Personen mit einer Hör- oder Sehbehinderung einen besseren Zugang zu sekundärer und tertiärer Bildung zu ermöglichen.

Die Umfrage richtet sich an:

a) Gehörlose oder blinde Personen, Personen mit einer Seh- oder Hörbehinderung

b) Angehörige von gehörlosen oder blinden Personen bzw. Personen mit einer Seh- oder Hörbehinderung

c) Mitarbeiter/innen von nichtstaatlichen Organisationen, Vereinen, Gemeindezentren und anderen Institutionen, die Gehörlosen, blinden Personen, Personen mit einer Seh- und/oder Hörbehinderung (soziale, medizinische, technische) Unterstützung bieten

d) Gebärdensprachlehrpersonen und Gebärdensprachdolmetschende

e) Lernerinnen und Lerner einer Gebärdensprache (alle Niveaus)

Unser Fragebogen ist in Deutschschweizerischer Gebärdensprache (DSGS), Französischer (LSF-SR) und Italienischer (LIS-SI) Gebärdensprache der Schweiz verfügbar, sowie auf Englisch, Deutsch, Französisch und Italienisch.

Wenn Sie zu einer der unter a) bis e) genannten Zielgruppen gehören, bitten wir Sie, unser Projekt zu unterstützen, indem Sie den Online-Fragebogen ausfüllen.

Ihre Mithilfe ist immens wichtig, um die Situation im Schweizer Schul- und Bildungssystem zu verbessern.Wir sind Ihnen daher auch sehr dankbar, wenn Sie diesen Aufruf in der Familie, mit Bekannten, Kolleginnen und Freunden teilen.

Appel à participation - Enquête suisse sur la communication sans obstacle

Dans le cadre d'un projet de recherche financé par Swissuniversities, nous vous invitons à participer à notre enquête nationale sur la communication sans obstacle.

L'enquête a pour but de comprendre la situation actuelle des communautés de personnes sourdes, malentendantes, aveugles et malvoyantes en Suisse concernant différentes questions liées à la communication. L’objectif final est d’améliorer l’accès aux formations secondaire et tertiaire pour les personnes sourdes et aveugles, ainsi que pour les personnes malentendantes et malvoyantes.

Ce questionnaire est destiné :

a) aux personnes présentant tout type de handicap visuel ou auditif, ainsi qu’aux personnes des communautés sourdes ou aveugles

b) aux proches de personnes sourdes ou aveugles ou de toute autre personne avec un handicap visuel ou auditif

c) aux membres du personnel d’ONG, de centres communautaires ou de toute autre institution offrant un soutien de quelque nature que ce soit (social, médical ou technique) à des personnes sourdes, aveugles, malentendantes et/ou malvoyantes

d) aux enseignants et interprètes de langue des signes

e) aux apprenants de la langue des signes

Le questionnaire est disponible en allemand, français, italien, suisse allemand, langue des signes de la Suisse alémanique (DSGS), romande (LSF-SR) et italienne (LIS-SI), ainsi qu’en anglais.

Sondaggio svizzero sulla comunicazione senza barriere – invito a partecipare

La invitiamo a partecipare al sondaggio nazionale sulla comunicazione senza barriere, condotto nell'ambito di un progetto di ricerca finanziato dalle università svizzere.

Il sondaggio è volto a delineare un quadro generale della situazione attuale delle comunità di persone sorde o con disabilità uditive, persone non vedenti o ipovedenti in Svizzera, riguardo a diverse problematiche legate alla comunicazione. L’obiettivo è quello di proporre soluzioni in grado di migliorare l’accesso all’educazione secondaria superiore e terziaria per le persone con disabilità visive e uditive.

Il questionario si rivolge a:

a) Persone con ogni tipo di disabilità visiva o uditiva, o membri di comunità di sordi, audiolesi, non vedenti o ipovedenti

b)  Parenti di persone sorde o non vedenti, o di persone con ogni tipo di disabilità visiva o uditiva.

c) Membri di ONG, centri sociali e altre istituzioni che offrono supporto (sociale, medico, tecnico) alle persone sorde o audiolese e/o non vedenti o ipovedenti

d) Insegnanti e interpreti di lingua dei segni

e) Chi sta studiando una lingua dei segni

Il questionario è disponibile in tedesco, francese, italiano, Lingua dei Segni della Svizzera Tedesca (DSGS), Ligua dei Segni della Svizzera Romanda (LSF-SR) e Lingua dei Segni della Svizzera Italiana (LIS-SI), nonché in inglese.

Se il Suo profilo corrisponde a uno dei gruppi target menzionati qui sopra, saremmo molto lieti se potesse sostenere la nostra ricerca partecipando al sondaggio.
