The project addresses each of these Research Areas across five highly interrelated Work Packages (WPs):
- WP1: Compilation of a catalogue of target group requirements
- WP2: Compilation of a catalogue of existing technology and methods
- WP3: Standardisation and evaluation of methods and products
- WP4: Development and implementation of a research-based curriculum and pedagogy in Barrier-free Communication
- WP5: Consulting and standardisation of services in Barrier-free Communication
As outlined in our project proposal, Research Areas 1-4, 6 and 7 are the core of the project and will be fully investigated through in-depth theoretical and empirical research. Research Areas 5, 8, 9 and 10 will be interlinked with the overall project and only partially investigated: the project partners will coordinate the collection of existing research output in these areas. A thorough investigation of these Research Areas may follow, pending successful application for additional funding.
